UC Santa Cruz Theater Arts Department

The Theater Arts Department at UC Santa Cruz combines drama, dance, critical studies, and theater design/ technology offering students an intensive, unified undergraduate program. Based on respect for the classical theater of all cultures, combined with a determination to challenge tradition and fashion, the department educates its students in the history, theory, and practice of theater, providing them the tools to shape the future of performance. The Theater Arts Department regularly offers a variety of performances that are open to the public.
